This workshop is completely optional, but it helps you get your best foot forward when auditioning for the show.

A parent or guardian must be present at the audition check-in.
Auditions are first-come, first-served. When you arrive at the audition, we will confirm that your audition paperwork is completed, and you will be given an audition number.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to make sure we have everything you need.
Your photo will be taken upon arrival.
Requirements for auditions: 16-32 bars (approx. 30 seconds- 1 min) of any song that fits the style of a character you would like to play.
Please have either sheet music or a music track on a device (phone, iPad), with a karaoke version of your song.
Choreography will be taught at auditions and will be included in the audition process.

The choreographer will teach you a short dance combo. No experience is required. Just have fun with it!
If a potential cast member can not be present during the scheduled auditions, please send an email to ana@ocacting.com, to set up an alternative audition.
Each cast member must accept/decline his or her role by sending an email to ron@ocacting.com within 24 hours of the posting.
The audition for our younger performers consists of a singing and dancing portion. If desired, your child can sing 30 seconds of his/her favorite song. Some children may not want to sing alone, so they may sing a song with a friend, or we will assign a small group to sing together. The choreographer will then teach a short, simple dance to the children.
Ages 9-18: $550

Mondays and Wednesdays 6-8 PM in Rancho Mission Viejo
beginning January 5th. Tech rehearsals will be the week of February 23. Dress rehearsal Fri Feb 27.
There is a mandatory parent/guardian meeting via Zoom on Monday, Dec 22, at 8:30 PM.
Families are required to volunteer for 10 hours. Various volunteer positions are available. You may opt out of volunteer hours for a $200 fee.
